The Canucks are going to play against Portugal for the first time since 2013.
The Canadian rugby team is going to Lisbon to play against the Lobos as part of the Autumn Internationals do be played by Portugal.
The clash between the two teams will happen on the 6th November (time and place yet to be determined) and it’s the first time that the two teams play against each other since 2013. Back then, Canada won 52-8.
A lot has change since then and Portugal can be seen as slight favourites for this match. Apart from the excellent current form of the national team, the Lobos rank 19th in the world ranking whilst Canada is sitting on the 22nd place.
However, it is important to remember that this is a very experienced Canadian side that has never missed a World Cup since its inception in 1987. With their eyes set for France, in 2023, they are playing Chile (playoff) on the 2nd and 9th October.
